The Ceravolo's came to Australia from Italy over fifty years ago from the Old World to a New World. It was no co-incidence that they came from the 35 N Parallel in Southern Italy to the 35 S Parallel in the South of Australia. We have been making wine and olive oil for hundreds of years. Over generations, we have combined Old World traditions wiht New World expertise.
Calabria - Old World Tradition
With his parents, brother and seven sisters, Joe worked hard with his family to settle in their new land. They planted apple, cherry and chestnut orchards, market gardens, olive groves and vineyards in the Adelaide Hills and on the Adelaide Plains.
Our wines , single varieties from single vineyards reflect the best of both worlds. luscious full-flavoured wines from the Mediterrean Maritime climate of the sunny Adelaide Plains and classic sleek wines - an Italian-inspired Pinot Grigio and a Sauvignon Blanc - from the cooler climes near our home in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.
